The four-story, multipurpose center located immediately adjacent to the synagogue was added by Turner Memorial in 1979 and today is home to the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue offices. It now provides office and archival space for the Jewish Historical Society of Greater Washington, which had been located the Lillian and Albert Small Jewish Museum at Third and G Streets, the building that served as Adas Israel's first home from 1876-1908.

The center serves as the Sixth & I Administrative Building, and includes classroom space suitable for meetings, lectures and worship services. These and our other facilities are described in more detail here.
