Hosted by comedian Mo Mandel, our first-ever young professional fundraiser is a dressed-up Trivia Night with live entertainment, exciting prizes, and gourmet food. Team up to help Sixth & I raise money to support the 6th in the City programs you love.

Mo Mandel is a comedian and actor who regularly appears on Chelsea Lately and has starred opposite Hank Azaria in the NBC sitcom Free Agents. Mandel has also appeared on Modern Family, Happy Endings, Conan, Love Bites, Craig Ferguson, and in his own highly rated Comedy Central Half-Hour Special. Mandel’s first CD, “The M-Word” is out on Comedy Central Records.

Through the generosity of the Cohen Family Foundation, the full ticket price of this event is tax-deductible.

6th Street Minyan

A Cappella Shabbat

Enjoy a lively and participatory Shabbat service led by talented a cappella singers.

Includes hors d'ouvres, cocktails, and social hour before the 7:15 pm service and dinner afterwards

Havdallah on the Mall with Shabbat Hoppin'

Meeting Location: Corner of 7th St & Madison Dr on the National Mall

Usher in the start of a new week with a song and poetry-filled Havdallah service led by Rabbi Scott on the National Mall. Whether you just returned from your Israel trip and are looking to connect with fellow Birthright Israel alumni or you simply want to enjoy a Havdallah under the stars, come join us for this unique community experience.

Meditation Shabbat
with Rabbi Scott

image Om in the dome. Rabbi Scott combines Jewish, Buddhist, and Quaker spiritual practice to create a prayerful and contemplative Shabbat through silence, thoughtful sharing, and singing.

No previous meditation experience required, but an open mind and a sense of adventure a must. Followed by challah, wine, and an oneg.
