MesorahDC helps young,
single professionals ages 22 to 38 experience a beautiful — and tasty—
Shabbat. To usher in the Shabbat, we begin with a traditional,
easy-to-follow service, based around the stirring melodies of
the late Jewish composer, Shlomo Carlebach. Explanations and a
running commentary accompany the service, so that even people
less familiar with it feel more connected. The service is
followed by a full-scale, gourmet Shabbat meal on the first
Friday of the month, and a lighter dinner on the third Friday,
in the social hall downstairs.
The cost for the full dinner is $15.00 per person. If you come
with a friend, it's half price for each. For more information, or

for 25 years and we are honored to welcome him into the Sixth &
