Individual Meeting Training
- This event has passed.
LOCATION: St. John’s Church, Lafayette Square – 1525 H Street NW
As part of our Just Neighbors initiative, Reverend Luis Leon from St. John’s Church and organizers from the Industrial Areas Foundation lead an introduction to community organizing principles of how to conduct a one-on-one meeting. In this training, members of the Washington Interfaith Network break down the importance of relational organizing and explore how to build collective power through understanding each other’s self interests and passions.
About Just Neighbors: Help make our corner of the world better. In partnership with Calvary Baptist Church, this new initiative advocates for justice and aims to serve the underserved in the surrounding Chinatown and Penn Quarter communities.
