Susan Orlean and Alexandra Horowitz
- This event has passed.
Following National Puppy Day on March 23, join two funny, highly acclaimed, award winning authors – Susan Orlean, author of Rin Tin Tin, The Orchid Thief, and staff writer for The New Yorker, and Alexandra Horowitz, author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Inside of a Dog and On Looking – as they sit down together and share their work, broaden our thinking, and discuss our beloved canine companions: How do dogs think and how has our relationship with dogs evolved? And how do we go about finding out?
Beginning at 5:30 pm, the Washington Humane Society will park its mobile adoption vehicle—“Adopt Force One”—outside of Sixth & I so attendees can meet and play with dogs while learning about the adoption process.
