There’s nothing better than a good story! Entering another world, getting lost in the characters, enjoying the use of language and the imagination of writers. I’ve always been that friend who recommends books or gives them as gifts, and I’ve never met a library or bookstore I didn’t love. I’m passionate about work that shifts our perspective, broadens our understanding of the world, and connects us to each other. Prior to joining Sixth & I, I worked in artistic programming and community engagement as a theatre director and dramaturg, literary manager, and content writer/editor for regional theatres as well as arts and advocacy nonprofits, first in Seattle and now in DC.
On any given day, you can find me at one of the DMV’s amazing theatres, exploring DC’s wonderful neighborhoods, or sitting under a tree reading a book. I’m thrilled to be part of Sixth & I’s programming work and look forward to years of great discussions that spark conversation. Let’s tell stories together!
