The Gift of Life is an organization that began because registration of Jews in the national bone marrow registry used to be incredibly low; in the early 1990s a Jewish person had less than a 5% chance of finding a match. Gift of Life started to increase the number of Jews registered to grow the chances of finding a life-saving match.
