SUMMARY:Adult B’nai Mitzvah Course
DESCRIPTION:This course meets weekly on Wednesdays from 7:00 – 8:30 pm\, beginning on Wednesday\, September 26. \nDesigned to create comfort and gain mastery over Jewish tradition and prayer\, this 30-week workshop enables participants to deepen their connection to Jewish spirituality and practice. At the end of the course\, participants can celebrate their B’nai Mitzvah on our historic bimah. \nStudents are also required to attend Shabbat: Pure & Simple\, a Saturday morning service held on the third or fourth Friday of each month. Basic Hebrew reading skills required; comprehension not necessary. Interested students will need to meet with a Sixth & I staff member for a short interview to be accepted into the class. \nNo one will be turned away from any of our classes due to lack of funds.
