DESCRIPTION:This class meets Thursdays\, May 2\, 9\, 16\, and 30 at 7:00 pm. \nCombining Jewish wisdom with yoga poses and Vipassana Buddhist meditation\, instructor Alesandra Zsiba leads an exploration of mindfulness through movement and reflective discussion. Uncover the ways in which Jewish tradition encourages us to bring active inquiry into our lives and learn how to create a personal mindfulness practice. \nMay 2: Kavanah and Creating Intention\nMay 9: Ner Tamid and Cultivating Inner Light\nMay 16: Teshuva and Understanding Wholeness\nMay 30: Tikkun and Restoring the World Within \nAlesandra Zsiba is the director of the Jewish Mindfulness Center of Washington D.C. at Adas Israel Congregation.
