DESCRIPTION:The writers and producers behind The Daily Show perform “political-ish” comedy\, followed by a Q&A session about how the Emmy-Award winning news show is produced. Standup credits of performers include\, John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show\, The Late Show with David Letterman\, Late Night with Conan O’Brien\, Adam DeVine’s House Party\,  performances for the USO in Afghanistan\, and more. \nAdam Lowitt is a four-time Emmy-Award winning Executive Producer for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. As a stand-up comedian\, he has performed on Comedy Central as part of John Oliver’s New York Standup Show and was selected to perform at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal as part of their New Faces Showcase in 2012. In 2013\, Adam and three other Daily Show staff members were deployed by the USO to the Middle East as part of a USO tour of a two-country morale boosting USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour. \n Matt Koff is a staff writer on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. As a stand-up comedian\, he has appeared on Adam DeVine’s House Party on Comedy Central\, and The History Channel series I Love the 1880s. He has toured with such names as John Oliver and Mike Lawrence. \nJena Friedman is a stand up comedian\, actor\, writer and director based in New York. She is currently a field producer at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and has written for the Late Show with David Letterman.  Her work has been featured at SXSW\, The New York Fringe Festival\, The Glasgow International Comedy Festival\, in New York Magazine\, Newsweek\, Glamour\, Salon\, Gawker\, Time Out New York\, and on Comedy Central. \nTravon Free is a comedian\, actor\, and Emmy-nominated writer for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Along with his (use to be) popular “FREEdom of Speech” socio-political comedy blog\, his writing work can also be found all over the web\, including TV One’s TheUrbanDaily.com as one of the most sought after young comedic voices on social and political issues.
