DESCRIPTION:This is a two-part series that meets on Wednesdays\, May 3 and 10 at 6:00 pm.\n\nRabbi Scott guides classic Torah study where the primary text is surrounded by a conversation of commentators\, elucidating and arguing about the meaning of the original Biblical Hebrew. \nStudy will be primarily in English\, but a ready knowledge of Hebrew letters and how to sound them out is helpful. Students should be prepared to learn to comprehend and translate basic Biblical verses. Prior experience with Torah study is encouraged but not necessary.
