DESCRIPTION:85 percent of Americans from across the political spectrum support paid family leave\, but only 14 percent of Americans have it. Last December\, the DC Council passed the Universal Paid Leave Act\, guaranteeing up to eight weeks of paid parental leave\, six weeks of paid family leave\, and two weeks of paid medical leave. Even so\, this bill may be repealed and replaced this fall. \nLearn about the law\, and decide for yourself if you want to get involved in the campaign to protect DC’s paid family leave law.
