DESCRIPTION:Listen to Ghostland Observatory. \nSonically\, aesthetically\, and conceptually\, Ghostland Observatory’s approach to music is a melding of the two distinct personalities of bandmates Thomas Ross Turner (producer\, drummer\, and keyboardist) and Aaron Behrens (vocalist). The result is shimmering\, pulsing pop music that is kinetically alive with striking vocals and driving guitar work\, anchored firmly by percussive beats and Moog-generated melodies and hooks. \nKnown for their live shows at venues and festivals around the globe\, the Austin-based duo have played Lollapalooza\, Bonaroo\, and Coachella\, and were headliners at Austin City Limits. Turner and Behrens are influenced by the music of Karlheinz Stockhausen and Giorgio Moroder\, psychedelia\, rock\, and even country and blues. Ghostland Observatory has released four albums to date.
