DESCRIPTION:We’ve added an earlier section of this class. To switch to the 6:00 pm section\, please email Marissa.\nThis class meets Tuesdays\, June 21 – August 30 at 7:30 pm. *No class on Tuesday\, August 9.  \nDemystify the Hebrew alphabet as you learn the letters and vowels and how to combine them to “crack the code.” This course introduces reading Hebrew in an enjoyable yet focused atmosphere. Emphasis is placed on reading from the prayer book and words from Jewish cultural life. This course is for those with little to no prior Hebrew reading ability. \nDue to the cumulative nature of literacy learning\, students should plan to attend class regularly and spend 20 minutes daily on home practice.
