DESCRIPTION:Los Angeles-based holychild finds middle ground between pop and experimental music. The group’s latest music video\, “Best Friends\,” premiered exclusively on MTV’s Buzzworthy\, which called the group’s lead single an indie anthem that “definitely lives up to its proclaimed ‘experimental pop’ sound.” The group’s fall tour accompanies the October release of its debut EP. \nFormed in 2008\, Finish Ticket forms its sound from musical influences the Killers\, Manchester Orchestra\, and the Strokes. Finish Ticket had self-released two EPs\, 2009’s Life Under Water and 2010’s Shake A Symphony before releasing their first album in February titled Tears You Apart and produced by Pierre de Reeder of Rilo Kiley. \nSwaai Boys is a New York-based foursome that plays tropical rock & roll inspired by adventure and exploration. Meet the Mysterious Swaai Boys\, the band’s debut EP\, was released in April 2013. \nThis event will take place in our Downstairs venue. Limited seating is available.
