DESCRIPTION:Rabbi Scott leads the DC Honeymoon Israel trip from October 29 – November 7. Learn more about the highly subsidized trip to Israel designed for younger couples with at least one Jewish partner. \nThe total cost\, including round trip airfare\, is $1\,800 per couple. \nExperience Israel’s culture\, economy\, politics\, and nature that you could never have on your own. Twenty couples from the DC area will spend nine days exploring Israel—touring Jerusalem and Tel Aviv\, hiking Masada\, floating in the Dead Sea\, attending performances\, sampling local cuisine\, and exploring Israel’s diversity and complexity. You’ll have the chance to meet Israelis\, participate in Shabbat experiences\, and visit sites important to Jewish\, Christian\, and Muslim history. \nWho qualifies? \n\nCommitted and/or married life partners between ages 25-40\nAt least one Jewish partner\nAt least one partner has no prior organized Israel trip experience as a teen or adult\nPeople of diverse backgrounds\, including the LGBT community\n\nSixth & I is honored to partner with Honeymoon Israel and the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington on this exciting opportunity.
