It’s Only Natural: A Tu B’Shvat Celebration – RESCHEDULED DATE
- This event has passed.
Tickets purchased for the original event date of Jan. 25th – postponed due to the weather – will be honored at the rescheduled event. All Jan. 25th ticket buyers will be contacted with instructions for how to request a refund by Thursday, Jan. 28th.
Embrace your inner environmentalist by joining us for a Tu B’Shvat celebration. Tu B’Shvat, traditionally known as the New Year of the Trees, is a time to think about relating to the natural world and connecting with our spiritual selves. This holiday is celebrated by planting trees, eating fruits, and having a Tu B’Shvat seder, a ritual that began with the Kabbalists of the 16th Century.
At our seder, you’ll have a chance to eat fruits and nuts, drink four cups of wine, learn a little bit of Kabbalah, study nature-inspired texts, and discover connections between environmentalism and Judaism.
