DESCRIPTION:This moving service commemorates the spirit and work of Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr. and Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel. The service\, co-led by Rabbi Jenna and Kohenet Harriette Wimms\, will feature soul-lifting music from the Covenant Baptist UCC Choir and words of inspiration from Yolanda Savage-Narva\, Sixth & I board member and vice president of Racial Equity\, Diversity\, and Inclusion (REDI) for the Union for Reform Judaism\, along with reflections from interfaith partners and Sixth & I’ers. Stick around after the service for challah and dessert. \nThis event has been generously underwritten by The Revada Foundation of the Logan Family.
