DESCRIPTION:At this in-person event (with a virtual attendance option)\, proof of vaccination is required. Masks must be worn at all times except when actively eating or drinking during the happy hour before services or during dinner. Sixth & I’s food and beverage policy is subject to change based on the state of the pandemic and local guidelines. Please review our health and safety protocols here. Advance registration is required and walk-ups are not permitted. \nHappy Hour – 6:00 pm\nService – 7:00 pm\nDinner – 8:15 pm \nIn solidarity with Capital Pride 2022\, Rabbi Aaron and musicians Aaron Shneyer and Danny Villanueva lead an inclusive service celebrating the diversity of DC Jewish life. Hear a sermon from Rabbi Elianna Yolkut\, Rabbinic Scholar and Director of the Beit Midrash and Mikvah at Adas Israel Congregation\, and enjoy a performance from the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington Seasons of Love Ensemble. \nTo march with GLOE at the Capital Pride Parade on Saturday\, June 11\, sign up here.  \nThe menu includes: \nTo start\nRainbow veggie skewers with avocado-tahini dip (vegan\, GF)\nDolmas – stuffed grape leaves (vegan\, GF) \nDinner\nBeef meatballs in okra and tomato sauce with mint and cardamom (vegan option available upon request)\nRainbow flatbread (vegan) with zucchini\, eggplant\, tomato\, red onion\, and yellow pepper (GF option available upon request)\nChickpea harissa salad with arugula (GF\, vegan)\nMiddle Eastern vermicelli noodle rice (vegan) \nDessert\nHand dipped rainbow cookies\nIce cream sundae bar (vegan\, GF) \nThis event has been generously underwritten by The Revada Foundation of the Logan Family. \nThe dinner provided will be kosher.
