DESCRIPTION:At this in-person event (with a virtual attendance option)\, proof of vaccination is required including a photo ID that matches the name on the vaccination card. Masks must be worn at all times except when actively eating or drinking during the happy hour before services. Sixth & I’s food and beverage policy is subject to change based on the state of the pandemic and local guidelines. Please review our health and safety protocols here. Advance registration is required and walk-ups are not permitted. \nHappy Hour – 6:00 pm (SOLD OUT)\nService – 7:00 pm \nCelebrate National Refugee Shabbat at this inclusive service led by Rabbi Nora. With music from Aaron Shneyer\, Jeff Geld\, Sarah Fredrick\, and Wren Ehai\, the service blends contemporary and traditional elements for an experience that feels both familiar and fresh. Hear from Aziz Royesh\, an activist and educator\, about his work with the 30 Birds Foundation and his experience recently immigrating to the United States from Afghanistan. \nFor those watching at home\, learn more about how you can host or attend a Shabbat dinner with other local 20s and 30s. \nThis event has been generously underwritten by The Revada Foundation of the Logan Family.
