Founded in 2014 by Andy Valenti and C.J. Johnson\, the now five-piece group includes lead guitarist Alex Salser\, John Daise on bass\, and Adam Ashforth on drums. Mixing in healthy doses of classic R&B\, funk\, and folk\, Oh He Dead’s “…infectiously groovy tunes” (NPR) has captured the hearts of DC residents\, and the feeling is mutual. In this intimate set\, founders Valenti and Johnson will perform together. \nThanks to DCist\, our media partner on the Living Room Sessions series. \nSixth & I is committed to providing dynamic and entertaining programming while our building is closed\, but we need your help to sustain those who make this programming possible.
