With an introduction\, headnotes\, and an inspired list of multimedia recommendations\, Gay presents multicultural perspectives\, ecofeminism\, feminism and disability\, feminist labor\, gender perspectives\, and Black feminism.   \nThe Portable Feminist Reader explores the state of American feminism\, its successes and failures\, and what feminism looks like in practice\, as a complex\, contradictory\, personal\, political\, and ever-growing legacy of feminist thought. Gay is the author of several books including the bestsellers Bad Feminist and Hunger\, and Marvel’s World of Wakanda.  \nAll books will be pre-signed by Roxane Gay. A book signing will follow the event for those who would like a name added to their book.
