SUMMARY:Sukkot in Spring: A Home Repair Service Project
DESCRIPTION:Volunteer opportunities are available at 9:30 am and 12:30 pm. Advanced registration required; offsite location to be announced. \nHelp revitalize and repair homes in our community by volunteering with Yachad\, an organization dedicated to preserving affordable housing in the DMV. Volunteers will paint\, remove debris\, and tackle water damage at the home of the Williams family\, whose house in Southeast DC was recently damaged by a fallen tree. Proceeds from ticket purchases will help underwrite the cost of materials for the project site. No experienced required.  \nIf you have specialized construction skills\, let us know in advance by contacting Kira Doar.
