SUMMARY:The Jewish Welcome Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Jewish Welcome Workshop starts in September of each year and runs for 38 weeks\, meeting on Thursday nights. Participants can enroll in either the 5:30 pm or 7:30 pm section. Designed for those in their 20s and 30s\, this class is a mix of lectures\, group activities\, text studies\, and holiday celebrations. No Hebrew language knowledge is required. Those wishing to convert will meet with one of the rabbis individually during the year and beyond. The rabbi—in consultation with you—determines when you are ready for the actual conversion. \nWe are currently accepting prospective students for the 2019-2020 cohort. By joining the inquiry list\, you are indicating that you are interested in being contacted next summer when we start registration. One option is our 5-week Basically Jewish course. You are welcome to take the introductory class somewhere else as well.
