As an actor\, he is best known for playing Ted Mosby on the Emmy-nominated CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother\, which is heading into its ninth and final season. He starred on Broadway as the title character in The Graduate opposite Kathleen Turner and Alicia Silverstone.
