Support for unions—and unions themselves—are experiencing a historic resurgence as companies like Starbucks\, Amazon\, and Trader Joe’s have been forced to confront their labor practices. \nLeading up to Labor Day weekend\, hear what Judaism has to say about labor justice and learn about local organizing efforts from Hannah Garelick of Jews United for Justice\, Altagracia Kubinyi of the National Domestic Workers Alliance\, and Sarah Levesque of OPEIU-Local 2\, which represents thousands of workers in DC\, Maryland\, and Virginia. \nThis event has been generously underwritten by The Revada Foundation of the Logan Family.
