Listen Up: A Mindful Communication Series
- This event has passed.
Mindfulness teacher Alison Cohen leads a series designed to help build stronger relationships by developing more compassionate communication skills.
Cohen’s approach, called Mindfulness-Based Communication for Connection, draws on tenets of mindfulness, teachings from Brené Brown and Drs. John and Julie Gottman, nonviolent communication strategies, and Jewish perspectives on communication. Each interactive session will include brief guided meditations, experiential exercises, and discussion.
Sessions on September 28, October 26, and November 30 are cumulative, but can also be taken individually.
About the Instructor
Mindfulness teacher Alison Cohen loves supporting people in strengthening their capacity to connect: with themselves, others, and ancient wisdom. She teaches in Jewish, Buddhist, and secular spaces.
No one will be turned away from this event due to lack of funds. For more information, please contact our Jewish Life Associate, Molly.
