Black Jewish Unity Seder: Celebrating Connected Histories

DC’s African American and Jewish communities explore the holiday of Passover by connecting shared histories, values, and a commitment to a better city and world. Through the seder, led by Rabbi Shira Stutman of Sixth & I and Pastor William H. Lamar IV of Metropolitan AME Church, our communities will promote a culture of understanding and respect.

All Ears: Listening Across Political Divides

As part of the November 9th project, Sixth & I is committed to building conversation across political divides. Facilitators from Resetting the Table, an organization that works to build meaningful dialogue and deliberation across political divides on charged issues, will help create a space to discuss passionate issues with honesty, recognition, and respect.
