In this introductory-level class, demystify the Hebrew alphabet as you learn the letters, vowels, and some words commonly found in Jewish life.
How to Say Goodbye
From havdallah at the end of Shabbat to the prayer we say after a meal, Judaism asks us to mark the ending with as much ceremony as we do the beginning. In Rabbi Shira’s final class at Sixth & I, share personal stories and study Jewish texts on how to say goodbye, especially when the future is uncertain. Bring tissues.
