Morning Intention-Setting and Prayers
Start off the work day with some spiritual work as we come together to connect and reflect. Rabbi Aaron leads a few of the traditional morning prayers, shares a couple of kavvanot (intentions), and leads a short journaling exercise.
All the Feels
Known for being one of the most emotionally intense months of the Hebrew calendar, Av has it all: grief, love, loss, singing, destruction, tears, dancing. Rabbi Nora leads a conversation on the ways in which our emotional spectrum is reflected in the themes of this time of year.

The Intimacy Experiment
Book Club with Rosie Danan
In The Intimacy Experiment, the rabbi of a failing synagogue joins forces with the founder of a sex-positive startup to host a buzzy seminar about modern intimacy to attract more millennials. It seems like the perfect solution—until they discover their growing attraction to each other and must put their syllabus to the test. Hear from author Rosie Danan, ask her questions, and spend time in breakout groups to reflect on the book’s themes.

Ask Me Anything with Rabbi Nora
Help us welcome Rabbi Nora to Sixth & I at a virtual Q&A. As she settles into her new role on our Jewish Life team, it’s your chance to learn more about her and to ask her all your hard-hitting questions, like her favorite Jewish holiday (how can you choose just one!) or the best place to get a bagel in DC.
Love Unmasked
As single people get vaccinated, many are wondering: is dating life going back to “normal,” or will we integrate the new approaches we’ve explored this past year? With Rabbi Aaron and Lisa Bonos, the dating and relationships writer for The Washington Post, discuss how romantic relationships changed during COVID (for better and for worse) and consider what insights Jewish tradition might offer to help you date more intentionally.
