Good Soul Service
Prayerbook: Conservative, fully transliterated
Led by Rabbi Jesse Paikin and musicians Aaron Shneyer and Michal Bilick
LOCATION: Chinese Community Church – 500 I Street, NW
For those in their 20s and 30s
With a strong emphasis on music and personal spirituality, this service is for those who are looking for a blend of traditional and creative elements. Contemporary spiritual practices, including meditation and mindfulness, will be scattered throughout, and fresh takes on classic prayers will be provided in English. This service is designed to be accessible to those new to celebrating the High Holidays, as well as those who are familiar with the traditional service.
Our machzor (High Holiday prayerbook) has great translations; all prayers are transliterated, where the Hebrew is rendered in English letters.
