Identity Lab workshops will be held Wednesdays, February 4 and 18, and March 11 at 7:30 pm. A storytelling show will be held on Sixth & I’s stage in front of a live audience on Wednesday, March 18 at 7:00 pm.

Craft your Jewish identity through stories and storytelling with Identity Lab. Our newest Jewish learning initiative bridges the richest parts of Jewish tradition and Moth-style personal narrative. Rabbi Scott and local artist Rachel Farbiarz facilitate a collaborative learning space where participants can share or listen to true stories among friends in small groups.

Get to know other people through hearing their stories; come discover yourself through learning Jewish stories. Workshops emphasize discussion and connection. Those who want to will have the chance to tell stories at the showcase on March 18^th.

The first Identity Lab theme is “The F Word (Family).” We will explore eff’ed up family dynamics through the lens of the rich Joseph story in the Torah, with ancient and modern perspectives.
