From trivia nights to beer and wine tastings to cooking classes, we offer a variety of ways to meaningfully connect with new people. Whether you’re new to DC, Sixth & I, or the Jewish community, or have been connected for years, it’s always the right time to make new friends. Regular offerings include:
Salons
These five-to-eight-week-long, peer-led gatherings are designed for those looking for sustained and thoughtful conversation among good company. Grounded in Jewish texts, these salon-style discussions provide the space to explore our relationship to ourselves, each other, and the moment we’re living in, asking big questions like: What makes a fulfilling friendship? Can I get better at making big decisions? How do I productively disagree with others? Click here to add your name to our inquiry list.
Group Text
Once a month, over pizza and wine, dive into hot topics in the news and culture through casual, rabbi-led discussions that are grounded in Jewish texts.
Shabbat Happy Hour
Before Friday Night Services, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on the second and third Fridays of each month, grab a drink and toast to the weekend.
