This alternative first-night seder led by Rabbi Jesse brings together the best elements of Passover: a festive meal, celebratory libations, traditional rituals, and great storytelling. The menu includes:
To start
Matzah ball chicken soup (matzah balls and broth are vegetarian)
Dinner buffet
Roasted chicken in lemon, garlic, and olive oil (GF; vegan option: roasted root vegetables in lemon, garlic and olive oil)
Moroccan dandelion and potato pie (vegetarian; vegan and GF option: roasted baby potatoes in garlic and rosemary)
Caramelized rainbow carrots in date honey (vegan, GF)
Herb, pecan, and dried fig salad (vegan, GF)
Dessert
Seasonal fruit and berry salad with orange-ginger syrup
Rainbow layered cake
