Sixth & I recently unveiled two new quotes—chosen by our community—to adorn our bimah: “Arise, shine, your light has come,” and “Love the stranger, for you were strangers.” With Rabbi Jesse, explore the origin of these passages, their unexpected use through history, and how they guide our work at Sixth & I.
