While democracy is not an integral Jewish value, traditional texts have a lot to say about when tainted leaders should be reluctantly supported, and when they should be rejected. Rabbi Shira leads this wide-ranging text study and conversation about what happens when our ideals crash head-on into reality, and we’re forced to make difficult decisions about who to support.
