This series meets in-person on Thursdays, December 1, 8, 15, and 22 at 7:00 pm.

With Rabbi Nora, explore Judaism’s approaches to different moral dilemmas, from cancel culture and effective altruism to sexual ethics. This series will begin with an overview of Jewish ethics before diving into some case studies. The class will include small group discussions and opportunities for personal reflection as we tackle age-old quandaries and contemporary hot-button issues.

This new series offers an opportunity to dive deeper into specific Jewish topics over the course of four weeks while building community with your peers who share a sense of curiosity for the world around them. We’ll explore questions about life and death, discuss how Judaism approaches morality, and contemplate what it means to live ethically. No previous knowledge of the topic is required.
