6:00 pm – Happy Hour
7:00 pm – Service
8:15 pm – Dinner

At a time when immigrants and refugees are under increased threat, this inclusive service led by Rabbi Jenna is an opportunity to ground yourself in Jewish wisdom about loving the stranger and standing in solidarity with immigrant and refugee communities. Hear from Alana Eichner, DC Chapter Co-Director at the National Domestic Workers Alliance and Sixth & I Board Member, about what’s being done locally to protect our immigrant neighbors and how to support those efforts.

The menu includes:

To start
Tilapia and pomegranate ceviche (GF)
Stuffed grape leaves (vegan, GF)

Dinner
Eggplant parmesan lasagna (vegetarian; vegan and GF options available by request)
Tomato, feta, and herb salad (vegetarian; vegan and GF options available by request)
Olives and roasted pepper couscous salad (vegan; GF option available by request)
French pea with mint and lettuce (vegan, GF)

Dessert
Nutella mousse (vegetarian, GF; vegan option available by request)

The meal provided will be kosher-style pescatarian. With any dietary restrictions, please contact Erica Greenwald by Friday, March 6. Vegan options are available by request. A vegetarian hechshered kosher meal must be requested no later than 9:00 am Friday, March 6. Please note: tickets are non-refundable.

*Sixth & I strives to offer affordable experiences, including Shabbat dinners. The subsidized price of $18 is intended for young professionals or those with financial need. The true cost of the meal is $45 and is reflective of the rising costs of security, food, and servers. If you are able, please consider covering the full cost of this Shabbat meal.
