Born and raised in Chicagoland’s northwest suburbs, I moved to Northern Virginia to study music and journalism at George Mason University and have immensely enjoyed the area’s artistic opportunities ever since. My arts management background includes two graduate degrees from Mason and work at several performing arts venues and regional theatres in the area, including Mason’s Center for the Arts, Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, the Hylton Performing Arts Center, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Studio Theatre, the Shakespeare Theatre Company, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Between events and performances at Sixth & I, you’ll likely find me trying to keep up my chops on the oboe, English horn, and bassoon and supporting local performers as an usher and patron. I can’t wait for visitors at Sixth & I to have the same welcoming experience as I had, and am committed to providing the best of service to each and every patron.
