I believe that strong community not only makes our lives richer and more fulfilling, but also enables us to bring more justice, kindness, and positive change into the world around us. I am thrilled to help build and grow the community at Sixth & I—a place rooted in its commitment to inclusivity and diversity, where people can find belonging, resilience, humor, and hope during both joyful and challenging times.
A Midwesterner at heart, I grew up in Michigan and called multiple other places home before moving to DC in 2021—St. Louis for undergrad at WashU, Benin as a health volunteer for the Peace Corps, and Seattle where I was an EMT, earned my Masters of Public Health, and worked for the local public health department during the height of the COVID pandemic. Before coming to Sixth & I, I was the Director of Annual Giving at Milton Gottesman Jewish Day School, where I fell in love with working in the Jewish world and grew my passion for relationship building and creating spaces of deep belonging and connection.
Outside of work, you can find me covered in chalk from rock climbing, clay from my most recent pottery attempts, or mud from hiking with my rescue dog, Syd. I’m also an avid reader and podcast listener (not all my hobbies leave me messy!).
