As a longtime fan of Sixth & I, I was thrilled to join the team as Executive Director in 2016. I’ve spent more than twenty years working in the field of TV as a programmer at Discovery Channel, TLC, E! and Style Networks and most recently at the National Geographic Channel.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, I was that kid who always had a book in their hand. I came to DC to major in Radio and Television at The George Washington University and fell in love with this town. I spent my junior year studying archaeology at Hebrew University of Jerusalem (my first magazine subscription as a kid was to the Biblical Archaeology Review).
I’ve always been involved in the Jewish community, from youth group as a teen through participating on the boards of my synagogue and local groups, like Operation Understanding and Micah House. Sixth & I feels like the perfect place to match my passions. When not at Sixth & I, I can usually be found watching TV and hanging with my family – my husband Sean and our two boys, Ben and Jonah.
