I was born and raised in Connecticut, attended college in New York, and have strong family ties to Philadelphia. As a lover of cities on the Eastern seaboard, it only made sense to explore DC, and so I made this city my home in 2013. Though I love the District and all it has to offer (great restaurants, exciting cultural events, and so many trees!), as a transplant, I was missing a sense of community, which is why I am so thrilled to be a part of the Sixth & I family.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in art therapy, and I love to draw and paint. I spent many years working with children with autism spectrum disorders; I worked to protect America’s waterways with a national non-profit; and after coming to DC, I spent three years in sales and marketing at the Capital Grille. I come to Sixth & I directly from Deloitte Consulting, and returning to non-profit work feels like coming home! When not at work, I can most likely be found curled up with my pup, Fletcher, and a good book (or Netflix original).
