This event is open to those in their 20s and 30s with programming during happy hour that will be geared toward interns.

Musical and interactive service with Rabbi Shira and musician Aaron Shneyer. Enjoy appetizers and drinks before the 7:15 pm service. Calling all DC interns: before services, learn about DC’s young professional Jewish life. Dinner will be Kosher barbecue.

During happy hour, JScreen will be conducting Jewish genetic disease screenings. Pre-register on JScreen’s website at a subsidized rate of $36. Select “Sixth & I” from the drop-down menu when asked “How did you hear about us?” on the registration site. Walk-ins are also welcome.

The happy hour for this evening is made possible by the generosity of Bonnie and Alan Rich.

The dinner provided will be Kosher. Sixth & I is able to accommodate food needs specific to vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets. Please contact Abby at least five days before the event if you have any of these dietary requirements.

Sixth & I strives to be an accessible and welcoming resource for the community by offering affordable experiences, including Shabbat dinners. The subsidized price of $15 does not reflect the true cost of the meal provided ($30). If you are able, please consider covering the full cost of your Shabbat meal.
