Rabbi Aaron Miller of Washington Hebrew Congregation, Rabbi Shira, and musician Aaron Shneyer merge their respective services to create a whole new Friday night experience that combines the best of all styles, followed by dinner. For those in their 20s and 30s.

The menu includes:

To start
Eggplant, tomato, and pomegranate dip served with veggies and chips (vegan, GF)
Stuffed grape leaves (vegan)

Dinner
Roasted chicken in pomegranate-date sauce (GF; vegan option: fried tofu in pomegranate-date sauce)
Root vegetables and chestnut stew with tomatoes and cinnamon (vegan, GF)
Red cabbage, beet, and date salad with jalapeno and cilantro (vegan, GF)
Pistachio and sour cherry rice with crispy onion (vegan, GF)

Dessert
Basbousa (farina cake) in cardamom syrup served with berries (vegan; GF cookies available by request)

The dinner provided will be kosher; kosher supervision is provided by the Baltimore-Washington Kashrut Council. Sixth & I is able to accommodate food needs specific to vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets. Please contact Kira at least five days before the event if you have any of these dietary requirements.
