Musical and interactive service with Rabbi Shira and musician Aaron Shneyer. Enjoy appetizers and drinks before the 7:00 pm service. ASL interpretation provided. 

In honor of Sixth & I’s 15th anniversary, Call Your Mother Deli is baking five special varieties of challah* for Shabbat attendees. A limited number of challahs will be available for purchase at the door. Please note: Challah is not certified kosher.

The Shabbat menu includes:

To start
Tilapia and pomegranate ceviche (GF)
Babaganush with veggie pita chips (vegan, GF, *contains sesame)

Dinner
Chicken in fava beans and artichokes with lemon, rosemary and garlic (GF; vegan option: fava bean and artichoke stew)
Black eyed pea and sweet potato salad with red onion (vegan, GF)
Tuscan kale, asparagus, and pine nuts salad with parmesan and lemon-mustard vinaigrette (vegan)
Rice with pistachio and sour cherry (vegan, GF)

Dessert:
Baklava, Turkish delight, and halva trays

Shabbat dinner will be certified kosher. Sixth & I is able to accommodate food needs specific to vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets. Please contact Kira at least five days before the event if you have any of these dietary requirements.

Sixth & I strives to be an accessible and welcoming resource for the community by offering affordable experiences, including Shabbat dinners. The subsidized price of $15 does not reflect the true cost of the meal provided ($30). If you are able, please consider covering the full cost of your Shabbat meal.
