A Single Person’s Guide to the Jewish Community
CANCELED
- This event has passed.
This two-part class meets Thursdays, July 2 and 9 at 7:30 pm.
Singlehood today has become more than just waiting to get married. We make different choices about why we choose partnership, moreso than generations before us, and wait longer than ever to find a permanent mate (if it all).
But, the Jewish community is built to support marriage and children. Those of us who don’t fall into those categories can’t always find the support and connection we need.
In two nights of conversation with Rabbi Scott, explore what choices we’re making about finding a partner and discuss how to create full and meaningful Jewish lives in a community that is sometimes more geared toward children and family.
For those in their 20s and 30s
