Bake Pink, Think Pink
For women in their 20s and 30s
- This event has passed.
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, make pink challah and learn how to be proactive about your health with Sharsheret, an organization that offers a community of support to women of all Jewish backgrounds, diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer or at increased genetic risk.
Melissa K. Rosen, Director of National Outreach for Sharsheret, will share how to determine risk factors, mitigate risk, and help spread awareness of breast cancer in your community. Braid pre-made pink challah dough, add fun pink toppings, and take it home to bake fresh for Shabbat.
This event is supported by a grant from The Jewish Food Experience, a program of The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington.
