Creating a Jewish Home Together
- This event has passed.
Four part series from March 14 – April 4 at 7:30 pm
In this workshop, couples who are in long-term partnerships or married will explore what it means to create a Jewish home. Through guided conversation, couples will talk, learn, and discover ways to infuse Jewish values and traditions into their homes and lives.
Anita Diamant’s book Living a Jewish Life will serve as a springboard for conversation about Shabbat practice, how/if you will “keep” Kosher, dealing with family, issues surrounding children, the search for a community that suits both of you, and other topics.
The group will be facilitated by Rabbi Shira Stutman. For the benefit of all participants involved, attendance is expected at all four sessions.
