Crafting Connections
For women in their 20s and 30s
- This event has passed.
For generations, women have turned to crafting as a means of livelihood. Today, women craft as a form of self-care, a way to connect to others, and to express political, social, and religious views.
At this interactive demonstration and workshop, learn the basics of embroidery, knitting, or jewelry making from four local women who have honed their creative skills into a practice that enriches their life and brings them joy. Leave with tools and tips to continue crafting on your own.
Ticket includes materials, tutorials, and light refreshments.
Open to anyone who identifies as a woman.
