Dancin’ In the Streets: A Simchat Torah Celebration
- This event has passed.
Advance registration is required and walk-ups are not permitted.
7:00pm – Happy Hour
8:00pm – Service
Simchat Torah, which means “Rejoicing in Torah,” is the day when we gather together to celebrate the Torah and renew ourselves as we begin the cycle of reading from Genesis once again.
After a three-year hiatus, we’re shutting down I Street once again for our signature Simchat Torah celebration. Let loose and dance like no one’s watching as you enjoy live music, themed cocktails, and other festivities led by the Sixth & I rabbis and musicians. If you’re new in town, new to Sixth & I, or are coming solo, stop by our happy hour to connect with our Jewish Life Associate, Eve, and meet others who are new to the area.
Tickets include admission, two drink tickets, and snacks. The event will run from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
Must be 21 or over to attend. No one will be turned away from any of our programs due to lack of funds. For more information, please contact our Jewish Life Assistant Director, Sara.
